Beauty and ugly ducklings

 The birds are growing in incredible speed rate!
You can see in the picture above what an odd place bird's ears choose to be in. Just under the eye. Imagine humans with that arrangement!

The first time out of the nest. Not that ugly anymore and just 3 weeks old.

After just a few days they almost look like mommy and daddy. Except for the white lip corners. It helps the parents to target their food. 
Count the eyes!
Three birds have their mother's crest and other two - father's sleek look. Just one more thing to find out. Which ones are boys and which are girls.
