Motherhood

The female finch is having a nap. A powerful one. I think she even almost fell off the branch! That's what parenthood does to you. The birds are exhausted. They feed their babies very often. Thank's god only two hatched out of six eggs.
And it's hot.
Or could it be that their doziness is a result of a very low atmosphere pressure? 
My ferns, on the other hand, love the hot humid air...
